Dynamic Knowledgebase software builds and maintains your "atlases", and does so "behind the scenes" so that your clients only need Dynamic Maps or a web browser to access and use the data and information. Dynamic Knowledgebase is used by one or two people in an organization - like a database administrator and/or a communications / marketing officer.
Your organization can maintain its information in
structured corporate data "atlases" - thus promoting
maintenance, standards and data sharing. Once data are registered
in an atlas, they can be accessed and used by others on their desktop or over
the Internet.

Specifically,
Dynamic Knowledgebase handles:
- Spatial
data (maps) When
you register spatial data in the atlas, you define their rendering characteristics
as well as the scale at which they should be rendered.
This way, the data appear in a logical color, sequence, and
at an appropriate scale.
- Tabular
data from Oracle, SQL Server, dBase, Access, Excel or any
ODBC-compliant database system. With Dynamic Knowledgebase it
is easy to relate tabular data to features on a map layer
so that users can easily "map" their data to identify spatial
trends, create thematic maps, and do other spatial analysis.
- "Documents"
in any format. Any digital file can be published and made accessible.
Even non-digital documents or collections can be made accessible
via their digital descriptions (metadata).
- Metadata
(Descriptions of the data). Dynamic Knowledgebase enables all
spatial and tabular data and documents to have descriptions provided so users better understand
them. Metadata often also supports data standards development
and sharing within and among organizations.
- "Atlases" The "atlases"
logically and physically organize "like" data. You can easily distribute these atlases
on CD with Dynamic Publisher for use with Dynamic Maps.
- Topics.
Topics group relevant map layers, data sets, and documents and enable you to focus
the users' attention on an item or area of interest while providing
information that is tailored to meet their needs.
Dynamic Publisher is available for registered users of Dynamic Knowledgebase.
